Jeffery Dalton Smith

Jeffery Dalton Smith, age 52, of Rapid Run Rd., Sandersville, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday April 26 at his residence, 243 Rapid Run Road, Sandersville.

Jeff was born in Baldwin County and was a life long resident of Sandersville. He was a teacher formerly working for the Washington County Board of Education, the Sandersville RYDC and Jefferson County Board of Education. He was a devoted husband, father, son and musician. Jeff’s love of family, friends and music has been shown for the last 10 years by Jeff and Terry hosting the Rapid Run Pop Festival at their home. Jeff is predeceased by his father John Dalton Smith.

Survivors are his wife Terry Chapman Smith and daughter Bayley Allison Smith, his mother Margie Brown Smith all of Sandersville, brother Curtis Del Smith (Dana) of Tennille, sisters Tracy Smith McCallie (Gary) of Macon, and Casey Allison Smith Moye (Carl) of Sandersville and 12 nieces and nephews.
