Jenny Josey Pennington

Jenny Josey Pennington, age 45, of Sandersville, died Monday, August 21, 2017, at her residence.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23 ^rd at 2:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Davisboro City Cemetery. Jenny’s grandmother, Vina Mae Josey, will officiate.

Jenny was born in Richmond County and reared in Washington County.  She was a homemaker and a lover of her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by so many that loved her.

Jenny is survived by: her husband, Mark A. Pennington of Sandersville; children, Sara Josey of Sandersville and Andy Pennington and his wife Jessica of Wrightsville; grandsons, Matthew Marolla and Thomas Withrow; her mother, Colleen M. Josey of Davisboro; her father, Richard Josey and his wife Lisa also of Davisboro; brother, Jody Josey and his wife Donna of Sandersville; and paternal grandmother, Vina Mae Josey.

The family will be at the residence of Jody and Donna Josey on Bay Springs Road, and they will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
