Jerry Christopher Byrd, Sr.

Mr. Jerry Christopher Byrd, age 49, of Milledgeville died on January 2, 2024, Navicent Health Baldwin Hospital following an extended illness.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.on Sunday, January 7, 2024. at Kendall Heights Church of God.

Mr. Byrd was the son of the late Jerry Bevian Byrd.  He was a former employee of Wendy’s and Walmart.  He was a graduate of Washington County High School.

Survivors are his son, Jerry Christopher Byrd, Jr. of Sandersville; mother, Jean Fordham of Sandersville; Stepmother, Reita Byrd; Stepbrother, Ralph Mosley and Stepsister, Dawn Mosley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Oconee Health & Rehab and Chaplinwoods.

The family suggest donations be made to the Jerry Byrd Family Support Fund, P. O. Box 1016, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
