Jerry Rylan Price

Mr. Jerry Rylan Price, age 67, of 10200 Highway 15 North in Warthen died Friday April 8, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday April 10 in the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Tennille with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. The Rev. Lamar Brantley and Rev. M. D. Cabe will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bruce Lindsey, Herman Channell, Ricky Haywood, Mark Pullen, Keith Blount, Chris Brown, Frankie Hawkins, Jay Anderson, Danny Watkins, Jeff Alligood and Jobie Blount.

Mr. Price was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Warren Right Price, Sr. and the late Annie Laura Crabb Price. He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Lois Meeks. He was a retired drilling supervisor with the Lands Department of Anglo American Clay Company. Mr. Price was a talented artist and had been commissioned to do numerous paintings. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Brown Price of Warthen, a daughter , Robin Price McDonald and her husband Keith of Warthen, a son, Jeff Price and his wife Sharon of Sandersville, four grandchildren, Lindsey McDonald Goodson , Natalie Blair McDonald, Ainsley Nicole Price and Erica Danielle Price , a brother, Warren R. Price, Jr. of Byron.

The family will be at the Price residence, 10200 Highway 15 North in Warthen and will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday.
