Jerry Tanner

Mr. Jerry Tanner, age 67, of Sandersville died on Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Sandersville following an extended illness.

Mr. Tanner was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Frank Tanner and the late Eugenia Cochran Tanner.  He was a retired maintenance worker for Central State Hospital in Milledgeville.

Survivors are: his wife, Martha Nell Tanner of Tennille; daughter, Saundra Tanner Pope and her husband Lee of Eatonton; granddaughter, Madeline Pope;  brother, James Tanner of Sandersville; and sister, Geneva Tanner Phillips of Fair Hope, Alabama.
