Jessie Mae West

Mrs. Jessie Mae West, age 85, of Sandersville, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, December 31 ^st at 2:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel.  Reverend Fred Morrison will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. West was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Willie Gibson and the late Essie Sweat Gibson.  She grew up on a farm helping her parents in the cotton fields.  Jessie later worked for Washington Manufacturing Company for many years prior to working for the Jack Smith's Swine Farm.  She was an excellent quilter and loved to go fishing.  One of her greatest joys was listening to the Old Country Juke Box.   Mrs. West is predeceased by her husband, Clifton West and her son, Ronald E. Osborne Sr.

Survivors are her children, Clint Osborne and his wife Linda of Harrison, Glenn Osborne and his wife Sharon of Tennille and Peggy Rentz and her husband Steve of Louisville; grandchildren, Josh Osborne, Melinda Osborne, Shelby Osborne, Felisha Osborne, Terry Oquinn, Jessica Burgamy and her husband Eric, Kimberly Withrow and her husband Blake, Megan Smith, Lisa Osborne, Kelli Osborne, Lacey Osborne, and Ronald "Bubba" Osborne Jr.; and 37 great grandchildren.
