Jimmie Lee Register

Jimmie Lee Register 64 of Eatonton passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015.

Jimmie was born in Sandersville on December 27, 1950 to Frances Strickland Register and the late Walter D. Register Sr. Jimmie enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden in his spare time.

He is a retired first Sergeant of the United States Army having served 20 years in the military. He is preceded in death by his father and brothers Joseph and David Register.

The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 1 to 3 PM.

The service will follow at 3 PM, interment will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife Marie Parham Register; children, Bill Walls of Eatonton, GA, Angela Neal (David) of MO, Carmen Bradshaw (Toby) of Columbus, Homer Walls Jr.(Lynda) of Eatonton; mother, Frances Strickland Register of Davisboro, GA; sister, Nancy Lynn Norwood of Sandersville, GA; brothers, Jack A. Register of Davisboro, GA, Tommy Register of Seattle, WA, Kenny Register (Barbara) of Greenwood, SC, Walter Register Jr. of Elbern, AL, Timmy Register (Barbara) of Ocean View, MS, Christopher Register (Christina) of Warner Robins, GA; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
