Jimmy Lee Sanders, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Lee Sanders Jr., age 48, of Sandersville, died Saturday, September 25, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 4:00pm at the Real Fellowship Church with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Phil Wallace will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jason Boulineau, Jamie Thompson, Eric Thompson, Roy Davis, Cecil Davis, Ronnie Grant Falcon Biggins and Ken Mathis.

Jimmy was born in Washington County the son of the late Jimmy Lee Sanders Sr. and the late Martha Jackson Sanders. He was a mechanic and the former owner and operator of Sanders Garage. Jimmy was a lover of animals.

Survivors are his siblings, Patsy S. Thompson (Larry) of Harrison, Sherry S. Peavy (Randy) and Russell Sanders (Sara) all of Sandersville, and Karen S. Thurman (Matt) of Orlando FL., and nieces and nephews Jamie Thompson (Jill), Tabitha T. Biggins (Falcon), Eric Thompson (Christy) and Rusty Sanders.

The family will be at the residence of Russell and Sara Sanders 5695 Hwy. 24 East, Sandersville and will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
