Mrs.. Joan Kingery McNally , age 92, of Sandersville died on Friday morning November 13 in the Extended Care Facility in Sandersville following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday November 17 in the First Baptist Church of Sandersville with burial in the Ramah Church Cemetery near Gordon. Rev. Lee Lacey will officiate.
Mrs.. McNally was a native of Wilkinson County, the daughter of the late Edd Howard Kingery and the late Essie Parker Kingery and the wife of the late Lloyd Carlton McNally, Sr. She was predeceased by grandchildren, Dawn Michelle McNally, Jason McNally Smith and Will Smith. She attended Georgia State College for Women. Mrs. McNally was formerly an employee of Warner Robins Air Force Base where she worked drafting technical manuals. She had resided in Sandersville for many years and was a retired loans processor for the Production Credit Association. Mrs. McNally was a member of the Washington County Pilot Association and was a former officer in the National Pilot Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sandersville.
Survivors are a daughter, Joan McNally Smith and her husband Clint of Sandersville, a son, Lloyd Carlton McNally, Jr. and his wife Judith of Milledgeville, two grandchildren, Carla Judith McNally Czentnar of Lawrenceville and Elizabeth Joan McNally Walters of Braselton, five great grandchildren, Courtney Dawn Czentnar, Laney Walters, Brayden Walters, Carley Walters and Cade Walters.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Monday.
The family suggest donations be made to the Methodist Children's Home, P. O. Box 2525, Macon, Georgia 31203.
May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
