Joanne Marchman

Miss Joanne Marchman, age 66, of Warthen, died Monday, September 23, 2013, at the Heritage Inn Nursing Home in Sandersville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brownwood Cemetery. Reverends Danny Thomas and Tim Powell will officiate.

Miss Marchman was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County the daughter of the late James Walter Marchman and the late Mamie Lee Horton Marchman. She was a former employee of the Royal Manufacturing Company and a member of the Sisters Baptist Church. She is also predeceased by her brother James M. Marchman.

Survivors are her sister-in-law, Linda R. Marchman of Warthen; nieces Kelli M. (Joshua) McNeely of Davisboro and April M. (Clint) Blackmon of Savannah; a great-nephew Aspen Scout Blackmon and her aunts and cousins.

The family will be at the Marchman residence on Hwy. 15 North, Warthen and they will receive friends prior to and after the graveside service on Thursday in the Cemetery.
