John Robert Afflerback, Jr

Mr. John Robert Afflerback, Jr. age 64, of Royal Lane in Sandersville, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at his residence. His family will gather in his memory at a later date.

John was born in Willingboro, New Jersey son of the late John R. Afflerback, Sr. and the late Angeline Julieano Afflerback. He was reared in Burlington County New Jersey where he graduated high school. Following high school, John began his working career at McDonalds prior to transitioning into tire service. He spent most of his career in concrete manufacturing and delivery. In 2016, he moved to Sandersville, Georgia to be near family. While living in Sandersville, John worked for Washington County Machine Shop and Fowler Flemister Concrete. He possessed a passion for motorcycles and loved riding them often. John was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching football and hockey. One of his favorite pastimes was playing video games.

Survivors include his children, Patrick Afflerback of Sandersville and Jennifer Long of Florida, a grandson, Corbin Afflerback also of Sandersville and brothers, Bob Afflerback and his wife Beth and Bruce Afflerback all of New Jersey.
