John Mark Prince

Mr. John Mark Prince, age 60, of Gibson, passed away at his residence on Friday, May 3, 2024. His family will celebrate his life with a private, graveside memorial service.

Mr. Prince was born in Sandersville, the son of the late Clyde Haywood Prince and Elizabeth Shurling Prince. Mark spent his working career in the kaolin industry, working for Thiele Kaolin Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as traveling and taking trips to the mountains. Mark’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandson Renner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his late wife, Grace Little Prince.

Mr. Prince is survived by his wife Debra; grandchildren, Renner Rose, Isaiah Carroll, among many others; sisters, Cheryl Lynn of Metter, Dawn Johnson and her husband Earl of Tennille, and Claire Redfern and her husband Tommy of Warthen; brother, Jimmy Prince and his wife Twanda of Sandersville; great friend, Benny Stephens; and many nieces and nephews.
