John W. Lord

Mr. John W. Lord, age 43, of Warner Robins died Wednesday January 19 in Warner Robins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday January 22 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The Rev. Ramus Freeman will officiate with burial in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Lord was a native of Houston County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marian Bruce Lord. He was a graduate of Northside High School class of 1986 and a member of the ROTC. He was a former sheet metal technician for Northrop Gruman and a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church.

Survivors are his father, Hugh Dorsey Lord,Sr. of Warner Robins, two sisters, Susan Ganus and her husband Ricky of Warner Robins, Marian Ruth Day of Jeffersonville, a brother, Hugh D. Lord, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Jeffersonville and several nieces and nephews and two cousins.
