Mr. Johnny William Renfroe Jr., age 81, of Sandersville, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 1st at 2:00pm at the Sisters Baptist Church with burial in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Burt Parker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nick Renfroe, Ellis Renfroe, Hogan Renfroe, Rick Jackson, Tommy Brown, David Brown and Billy Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be the Silent Seekers Sunday School class of Sisters Baptist Church.

Mr. Renfroe was born in Washington County the son of the late Johnny W. Renfroe Sr. and the late Paulene Poole Renfroe. Johnny was a longtime car salesman in Washington County beginning his career with Jordan Chevrolet, managing Rite Way Ford and retiring at Dorman Dodge. He was an active member of the Sisters Baptist Church where he was the former teacher of the Silent Seekers Class as well as serving as church Sunday School Superintendent.

Survivors are; his wife Ann McNeely Renfroe, sons Bobby Renfroe (Karen), Tim Renfroe (Susan), and Mike Renfroe (Pam) all of Sandersville, grandchildren, Brittney Renfroe, Nick Renfroe, Ashley Renfroe, Ellis Renfroe, Hogan Renfroe, Rick Jackson and Danielle Cowart, great grandchildren, Cole Jackson, Logan Jackson and Connor Cowart.

The family will be at the Renfroe residence 737 E. McCarty St. in Sandersville and will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 6pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to the Sisters Baptist Church 1807 E. McCarty St. Sandersville, GA. 31082.

May and Smith Funeral Directors is in charge of these arrangements.
