Johnny Edward Swindell, Iii

Mr. Johnny Edward Swindell III, age 62, of 1030 Glover Road in Riddleville died Saturday May 12 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday May 15 in the New Hope United Methodist Church with burial in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ron Dixon will officiate. Pallbearers will be Josh Burkhalter, Jacob Burkhalter, Jerome Bryan, Rex Brantley, Wayne Day and Randy McCarty.

Mr. Swindell was the son of the late Johnny Edward Swindell, Jr. He was a mechanic, carpenter and jack of all trades. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Swindell and a sister, Carolyn Swindell.

Survivors are his wife, Emily Bryan-Swindell of Riddleville, his mother, Alice Kearse of Riddleville, a daughter Kathrine McKinney of Shrewbury, Massachusetts, two sons, Jacob Burkhalter of Riddleville and Joshua Burkhalter of Duluth, two grandchildren, Megan McKinney and Mattie McKinney, a sister, Kay Swindell Morris of Charleston, SC, and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Bryan Family Home, 826 Glover Road in Riddleville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday.

The family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 632, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
