Jonathan Luke Askew

Jonathan Luke Askew, age 30, of Tennille, passed away on Friday September 10, 2021 at his residence.  A graveside funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille.  Reverend Gary Cobb and Reverend Larry Glover will officiate.

Jonathan was a kind and loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was currently employed as an HVAC Technician with Helton Electric.  Jonathan had a love and compassion for animals and would readily adopt a stray cat or dog in need of a home. He will be greatly missed and forever loved and remembered by his family and friends.

Survivors are his mother, Sonya Smith; father and stepmother, David and Allyson Askew; brother, Steven Askew; sister, Kayla Harris; niece, Claudia Harris; grandmother, Jean Smith; grandparents, Grady and Ellen Askew; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jonathan is also survived by his four-legged canine friend, Buddy.
