Joseph Eugene Nolan

Mr. Joseph Eugene Nolan, age 45, of Asheville, North Carolina died in Sandersville, Georgia. A memorial service for Mr. Nolan will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018, in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville.  Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.

Mr. Nolan was a native of Fulton County, Georgia, the son of the late David Jenkins. He was a devoted and loving father. He was a skilled artist, using his creative skills as a glass blower, photographer, and musician.

Survivors are his daughter, Molly Rebeka Nolan of Asheville; his mother, JoAnn Thurmond of Winder; sister, Apryl Martin Mathis of Buford; and brother, Daniel Martin of Loganville.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M., Saturday morning until the hour of service.
