Juanita Logue

March 28, 1928 — November 8, 2016

Mrs. Juanita Logue, age 88, of Tennille died on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in an Augusta hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, at First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville with burial in Washington County Memorial Gardens. Reverend Danny Thomas and Reverend Gary Mimbs will officiate. Pallbearers will be Russell Meeks, Randy Lord, David Hooks, Floyd Horton, Chris Smith and Mark Stanley.

Mrs. Logue was a native of Johnson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late George Thomas Meeks and the late Evie Bell Underwood Meeks. She was a retired certified nurse’s assistant having worked for Rawlings Nursing Home and the Extended Care Facility and was a wonderful homemaker. Mrs. Logue was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Sandersville.

Survivors include: her husband of 69 years, Jerry W. Logue, Sr. of Tennille; three sons, Jerry W. Logue, Jr and his wife Carol of Tennille, George Logue and his wife Cathy of Sandersville and Mike Logue and his wife Gina of Tennille; six grandchildren, Andy Logue, Chad Logue, Deidre Logue, Kellie Logue, Kyle Logue and Alan Logue; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a devoted caregiver, Marie Young.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday.
