Judith Osborne Thomas

Mrs. Judith Estelle Osborne Thomas, age 22, of Craig, Colorado died Saturday May 17 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in northern Moffat County Colorado.

A memorial service was held on Friday May 23 in the Baggs Community Park in Baggs Wyoming. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday May 28 in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery near Deepstep.

Judith Estelle Osborne Thomas was born December 9, 1985 in Augusta, Georgia. She was raised and attended school in Sandersville. Judy married Jason E. Thomas on September 16, 2006 in Grand Junction, Colorado. They made their home in Grand Junction for a short time and returned to Savery, Wyoming. Judy was a homemaker and also worked for a pre school in Baggs, Wyoming. She enjoyed playing pool, hunting arrowheads, camping and fishing. Judy was a certified Emergency Medical Technician and when in high school she was active in school chorus.

Survivors are her mother, Holly (Scott) Pridgen of North Charleston, S.C., her father, Walter C. Osborne, Jr. of Tennille, sisters, Latasha Marie (Kendall) Burkett of Sandersville, Peggy (Perry) Smith of Tennille, brothers, Willie Clinton (Linda) Osborne of Tennille, Ronald E. Osborne of Harrison, Glen (Sharon) Osborne of Tennille and James Grady Osborne of Baggs, Wy., grandmother, Judith Horton of Milledgeville, Grandparents, Bobby (Beth) Pridgen of Columbus, Ga., Vivian (Edward) Brockway of Smith Station, Al., step sister, Brandy Lynn Pridgen of Milledgeville, mother in law, Janice Thomas-Stagner of Casselton, ND., Aunts, Tammy Horton and Lisa Horton of Milledgeville, Susie (Mandel) Waters of Tennille, Oneita (Bowdre) Baker of Milledgeville, Myrti (Stevie) Rentz of Augusta, uncle, Greg ( Kelly) Pridgen of Columbus, close friends, The Moss and O’Connor and Shepard families of Baggs , Wyoming, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
