Judy Turner Morgan

Mrs. Judy Turner Morgan, age 75 of Tennille passed away on December 4, 2024, in an Augusta area hospital after a brief illness. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 3:00p.m. in Zeta Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Brian Welch officiating. Pallbearers will be Kyle Turner, Lon Turner, David Askew, Ryan Barron, Sean Strickland, Larry Smith, Jerod Korn, and Wes McCloud. The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Dublin, the daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtice Horton Turner. She was a lifelong resident of Tennille and spent most of her working career as a Radiology Technologist for Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville. Mrs. Morgan was a simple, yet elegant woman who enjoyed helping other people. She was a hard worker and an avid lover of all animals, especially her dogs, Gracie and George. Mrs. Morgan was a “Dooley’s Dawgs Fan” and could often be found swinging on her front porch. Most of all she loved her boys and her grandchildren beyond measure. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Tennille Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Grayson Strickland; and siblings, Hugh Turner, Harold Turner, and Ellen Askew.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her son, Justin Strickland and his wife Tiffini of Eatonton; grandsons, Tristin Strickland, Kyle Strikland, and Sean Strickland; granddaughter, Taylor Strickland; four great grandchildren; sister, Debbie Burgamy of Tennille; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Mrs. Morgan’s memory to the Washington County Animal Shelter, 430 Beck Blvd. Sandersville, GA 31082.
