June Mcmasters Renfroe

Mrs. June M. Renfroe, age 76, of E. McCarty Street in Sandersville, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Glenwood Health Care in Glenwood following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Sandersville United Methodist Church with burial in Brownwood Cemetery. Rev. Mark Carter will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Garrett, Chet Daniel, Prine Anglin, Chad Bowen, Luke Renfroe, Shane Henry and Brad Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult Sunday School class at Sandersville UMC.

Mrs. Renfroe was born in Tennessee the daughter of the late Virgil McMasters and the late Mary Beard McMasters. She worked as a bookkeeper with Home Health Care, Dorman Dodge and B. H. Transfer before her retirement. She was an active member of the Sandersville United Methodist Church where she was a member and president of the Adult Sunday School Class and also a member of the Friendship Fellowship. Mrs. Renfroe served as a former church pianist for the Davisboro UMC and also the Bethel Baptist church in Glenwood where she was a long time resident before moving to Sandersville. She is predeceased by a son Michael Frost.

Survivors are her husband Willard M. Renfroe Sr. of Sandersville, children Nancy Stapleton (Anthony) of Lumber City, Daryl Frost (Shirley) of Glenwood, Denese Taylor of Sandersville, Fern Bowen (Chip) of Tifton and Sherri Frost of Tampa FL., eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, brothers, Blaine McMasters (Joy) and Wayne McMasters all of TN., and sister Carol Holt and Marie McMasters also of TN.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
