Kathryn Smith Wiles

Mrs. Kathryn Smith Wiles, age 62, of 1850 Jackson Church Road in Tennille died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 13th, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Jerry Lanier will officiate. Pallbearers will be Alex Burgess, Darren Burgess, B. J. Mize, Caleb Frost, Johnny Wiles and John Wiles.

Mrs. Wiles was a native of Richmond County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Billy H. Smith and the late Frances Mae Lackey Smith. She had resided in Washington County for a number of years and was a homemaker. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness Church in Sandersville.

Survivors are her husband, Billy Wiles of Tennille; five daughters, Tammy Burgess of Siloam, Kimberly Hicks of Sandersville, Haley Railey, Kathryn Railey and Hannah Railey all of Tennille; two sons, Brian Railey of Syracuse, NY and Jacob Railey of Tennille; and eleven grandchildren, Megan Burgess, Alex Burgess, Summer Burgess, Zoey Burgess, Jonathan Hicks, Shelby Marie Hicks, Austin Alan Hicks, Kyle Railey, Emma Railey, Austin Cutler and Sydney Cormier.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday.
