Kathy Lord Carlson

Mrs. Kathy Lord Carlson, age 60, of Sandersville, Georgia died on December 23, 2020, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 27, at 2:00 P.M. in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Reverend Tony Mimbs will officiate.

Mrs. Carlson was a native of Washington County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Jimmy Brown Lord and Jacey Blount. She was a former employee with the Georgia Department of Labor and was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections. Mrs. Carlson was a member of Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Larry A. Carlson of Sandersville; a son, Rocky Joe Walker of Sandersville; a daughter, Misty Walker Graham and her husband Aaron of East Dublin; two grandchildren, Austin Graham and Ashton Graham; three sisters, Debbie Broughton and her husband Buddy of Lake City, Florida, Rhonda Nobles and her husband Todd of McClinty, Florida and Cheri Lee and her husband Brian of St. Augustine, Florida.
