Kellie Rachel Chalker

Miss Kellie Rachel Chalker, age 31, of Mitchell, died Thursday, May 1,2014 in the Georgia Regents Medical Center, Augusta.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 4 ^th , in the First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville with interment in the Mitchell City Cemetery.  The Reverend Gary Mimbs will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Robbie Grace, Jonathon Thigpen, Cecil Frazier, Jason Carter, David Ray, David Everett, Ben Tarbutton III, and Charles Tarbutton.

Kellie was born in Augusta but was a lifelong native of Mitchell. She was a 2001 Glascock County High School graduate.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, the beach and most of all, her family. She devoted much of her time as a volunteer helping others in need.  Kellie attended the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her parents, Ronald F. and Debbie Usry Chalker of Mitchell; two brothers, Ron B. Chalker of Sandersville and Matthew E. Chalker of Mitchell; her sister, Christie C. Hayslip and her husband David; and nephew Ethan Usry all of Lizella.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 3 ^rd , from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
