Kenneth McBride

Kenneth Edward McBride, age 58, of Peach Farm Road near Davisboro, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, following an extended illness. Kenneth’s family will gather and greet friends on Wednesday, June 3rd at the home of Charity McBride, 5224 Hwy 24, Sandersville, beginning at 3:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Kenneth was born in Millen, Georgia and reared Washington County, where he graduated from Washington County High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the US Army serving stateside and in Germany. Upon his return home, Kenneth began a lifelong career as a professional truck driver working for several trucking companies. His favorite hobby was fishing with family and friends. He loved being outdoors fishing or hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Tammie Baxley McBride of Davisboro; children, Keaton McBride and Charity McBride (Johnwesley Major) all of Sandersville and Kristtapher McBride of Davisboro; grandchildren, Emiliano Cruz, Carlos Cruz, Lukas Cruz, Westin Major, Hardin Major, Celia McBride, Caspian Marcus and Ian Marcus, his mother, Loraine Carter McBride and siblings, Lanelle McBride, Jason McBride (Paula) and Lisa M. Brooks.
