Kenneth Eugene Young

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Young, age 87, of Sandersville died on Friday December 4, 2020 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. A memorial service for Mr. Young will be held at a later date.

Mr. Young was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late Clovis Carl Young and the late Lillie Idella Cantrell Young.  He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Young and a brother, James Thomas Young.  He was a retired Lt. Commander in the United States Navy and a Viet Nam Veteran.  Mr. Young was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  He was an avid fisherman and a member of Bass Masters.

Survivors are his wife, LaCalir Rogers Young of Sandersville; step daughters, Judy Forehand of Sandersville and Cindy Pozen of Winterville; step son, Earl Majors Norden of Petal, MS; grandchildren, Eric Forehand, William Pozen and Benjamin Pozen; great grandchildren, Kailey Forehand, Nathan Forehand, Mia Pozen and Lucy Pozen.
