Larry Edgar Koehn

Mr. Larry Edgar Koehn, age 79, of Kittrell Creek Road in Sandersville passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Sandersville First Church of the Nazarene.  Reverend Joe Crosby and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.

Mr. Koehn was born in Monroe, Michigan, the son of the late Edgar Koehn and the late Alois Gessner Koehn. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was also employed for 25 years as a technical trainer for Canon. Mr. Koehn loved being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, or riding motorcycles. He was a man of great faith, who inspired many with his testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness. He also possessed a contagious and unique laugh. Mr. Koehn was a member of Sandersville First Church of the Nazarene where he was active in many areas of ministry, serving as a Sunday school teacher and also assisting with the Bridge Ministry. First and foremost, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Alan Koehn.

Mr. Koehn is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Guiliana Koehn; daughter, Kimberly Joselove; son-in-law, Gregory Joselove; grandchildren, Clae Joselove and his wife Morgan, and Reece Joselove; great grandchildren, Addison Joselove, Harper Joselove, and Owen Joselove; sisters, Valerie Koehn of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and Vickie Hill and her husband Steven of White Lake, Michigan; brother, James Koehn and his wife Denise of Lawrenceville; sister-in-law, Joanne Koehn of Sandersville; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Roscoe.
