Larry Gene Lamb

Mr. Larry Gene Lamb, age 57, of 620 Santa Maria Drive in Amelia Island Florida died at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday February 8 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Davisboro City Cemetery. Rev. Marlon Lastinger and Rev. Mike Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bruce Wilson, Dave Tackach, Rusty Rhodes, Bobby Parker, Neil Pittman, James Goforth, Mike Ross and Wayne Tapley. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Class of 1973.

Mr. Lamb was born in Louisville, Georgia, the son of the late John Martin Lamb and the late Geraline Amerson Lamb. Mr. Lamb was a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science. He had resided in Washington County most of his life. Mr. Lamb was a former plant manager for Prentiss Inc. and a member of the Davisboro Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Rose S. Lamb of Alma, a son John Clifford Lamb of Sandersville, a step daughter, Anna Crawford of Palm Coast, Florida and a four legged friend, Hooter.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 10:00 A.M. on Friday until the hour of service.
