Larry James Swint

Mr. Larry James Swint, age 72, of Sandersville died Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Navient Hospital in Milledgeville, GA following a brief battle with cancer. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Washington County Memorial Gardens.  Reverend Victor Cuyler will officiate.

Mr. Swint was a lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Chandler Hudson Swint and the late Dorothy Mae Wilcher Swint. Mr. Swint retired from the Sandersville Police Department. Larry loved all law enforcement and military personnel.  His greatest passion was his grandchildren. Mr. Swint was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Gevernie Phillips Swint.

Survivors are his son, Jamie Swint (Monica); grandchildren, Austin Swint (Megan), Matthew Swint, Kristen Swint; great grandchild, Carlee Beth Swint; and sister, Carol Swint Anderson

The family would like to thank the special care givers at Atrium Health Navient Baldwin that treated Mr. Swint.
