Lena Ann Lewis

Miss. Lena Ann Lewis, age 78, of Mills Lindsey School Rd, Warthen, died Thursday March 16, 2012 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Graveside Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert Cash will officiate.

Miss Lewis was a native and lifelong residence of Washington County the daughter of the late Jewell King Lewis and the late Annie Mae Meeks Lewis. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Union Baptist Church where she participated in the Church WMU. Lena had a great love for gardening and for sharing its contents with others.

She is survived by her sister Dora L. Johnson of Milledgeville and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 to 6pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
