Lila Smith Brantley

Mrs. Lila Smith Brantley, age 76, of Sandersville, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 15th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Temple of Praise on East Church Street in Sandersville. The Reverend Wallace Smith will officiate. The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the Church.

Mrs. Brantley was born in Oconee, Washington County, the daughter of the late James Barnes Smith and the late Lillie Belle Greene Smith. She retired from Keebler as a quality assurance inspector while living in Macon. Mrs. Brantley was a member of the Temple of Praise. She is predeceased by her husband Wade Calvin Brantley.

Survivors are her daughters, Lisa G. Brown of Sandersville and Darla B. Hannagan and her husband Rann of Cumberland RI; grandchildren, Collin Hannagan, Shawn Hannagan, Brantley Brown and Virginia Brown; her sister Dorothy Jean Johnson of Oconee; and nieces and nephews.

The family suggests donations be made to Serenity Hospice Care, 510 Bellevue Avenue, Dublin, Georgia 31021.
