Ms. Lonnell Robinson Phillips, age 69, of Lake Sinclaire, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Washington County Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Sisters Baptist Church Cemetery. Lonnell was born and reared in Sandersville, daughter of the late Lonnie Robinson and the late Ammie Louise Johnson Robinson. Following Dannys untimely death, Lonnell moved to East Lake on Lake Sinclaire, a place that brought her much joy. In spare time, she loved crafting wood products and especially bird houses, which she would meticulously paint. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Lonnell was a very independent person who possessed a giving heart. In addition to her parents and husband, Lonnell is also predeceased by siblings, Billy Johnson, Frank Cooper, and Brenda Robinson, her nephews, Greg Cooper and Heath Hannah and her beloved furry companion, Shonna Nevada.
Survivors include her step children, Lisa Turner and her husband John and D.J. Phillips and his wife Celena all of Glennwood, GA.; step grandchildren, Sierra Thompson, Crystal Thompson, Le'Nora Turner, Jonathan Turner, Logan Phillips, Paige Phillips and R.J. Phillips; her siblings, J.W. Cooper (Sara Knight) of Dublin, Bertha Sanders (Grady) of Sandersville and Mike Robinson (Deborah) of Davisboro and many nieces and nephews.
