Louie Richard Oliver

Mr. Louie Richard Oliver, age 74, of Covington, Georgia died Saturday, September 28, 2013, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 3rd, at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church near Sandersville. The Reverend Roy Smith will officiate.

Mr. Oliver was a native of Alamo, Georgia, the son of the late Reuben Oliver and the late Lucille Page Oliver. He was a graduate of Georgia State University and was associated with American Motors for many years. He retired as a motel representative. Mr. Oliver was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are his wife, Doris Jones Oliver of Covington; two sisters, Elizabeth O. Hammond and her husband Dod of Hawkinsville and Margie O. Padgett of Augusta; a niece, Lynn Padgett Young of Augusta; nephews, Matthew Holland of Havana FL, Billy Woods of Douglas and Billy Padgett of Nahunta.
