Louise Lindsey Cooper

Ms. Louise Lindsey Cooper, age 84, of Oconee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Wrightsville Manor Nursing home following an extended illness.   A graveside committal service will be held on Thursday, May 11 ^th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oconee Church of God Cemetery.  Reverend Gary Yonce will officiate.

Ms. Copper was born and reared in Johnson County, daughter of the late Canny Lindsey and the late Maitha Rachels Lindsey.  She resided most of her life in Oconee as a homemaker.  She is predeceased by her husband, John Lucian "J.L." Cooper and siblings, Kate, Mattie "Dot", Geneva, Elmer, Melvin and Alvin.

Survivors include her sister-in-law Mildred C. Christopher and her husband J.B. and many nieces and nephews.
