Louise Hutcheson

Margery Louise Hutcheson passed away after lengthy health issues on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Orchard Health and Rehabilitation in Pulaski, Georgia. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 11:00 at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Reverend Bobby Williford will officiate.

Louise was born in the family home in Wrightsville on April 5,1950 to the late Herschel Bray Hutcheson, Sr. and the late Margery Moore Hutcheson. She was a graduate of Johnson County High School, Class of 1968, where she was active in school clubs, played basketball, tennis and was also on Homecoming Court for 3 of her high school years. Louise then attended Macon Junior College, (now Middle Georgia University) and Georgia Southwestern University in Americus. After college she lived in Macon for many years working in the medical field and attended Vineville Methodist Church where she was active and taught Sunday school. Louise was also a member of the Nathaniel Macon Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her later years, health issues and disabilities kept her home with caregivers helping her daily.

Louise is survived by her brother, Herschel Bray Hutcheson, Jr. and his wife Darlene and sister, Marsha H. Olmstead, both of Wrightsville; nieces, Laura Elise (Lecy) Hutcheson and Holly Hutcheson Needham and her husband Andrew of Cumming, GA; great nieces, Olivia Grace Needham and Alexander Jane Needham and a nephew, Cody Hutcheson and his wife Megan of Wrightsville and great nephews, Bronc and Hayze Hutcheson.
