Mr. Loyce Denon Robinson, age 86, of 2847 Highway 15 South in Tennille died on Monday morning July 7 in the Oconee Health Care following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday July 9 in the First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Reverend Gary Mimbs and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Walter Davis, Randy Lord, Marion Anderson, Larry Avant, Mike Hamilton, Mike Logue, Russell Meeks and Dan Glover.
Mr. Robinson was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Sam Vernon Robinson and the late Willie Mae Hood Robinson. He was a retired employee of the Thiele Kaolin Company and a farmer. Mr. Robinson was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville.
Survivors are his wife, Annie Mimbs Robinson of Tennille, a daughter, Teresa A. Schuyler and her husband Rick of Tennille, his grandchildren, Joey Schuyler, Josh Schuyler, Taye Schuyler, his great grandchildren, Wyatt Schuyler, Peyton Schuyler, Dakota Schuyler, Hunter Ross and Briana Ross.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
