Lucile Screws Baugus

Mrs. Frances Lucile Screws Baugus, 80, passed away on January 12, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11 AM in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville. Interment will follow in Zeta Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 -7 PM.

Mrs. Baugus was a native of Wadley, and lived in Tennille until 1965. She was the daughter of the late Emory Lester Screws and Iris Pearl Morrison Screws. Mrs. Baugus worked for J.P. Stevens and Forstman until they closed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wesley Baugus, Sr.; son, Randall Lester Baugus; and brother in law, Freddie Baugus. Mrs. Baugus was a member of Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Brown (Arlin) of Milledgeville; son, Harold Baugus, Jr. of Milledgeville ; sister, Lyndel Ann Baugus of Dublin ; grandsons, Joshua Brown of Forsyth, and Caleb Brown of Milledgeville ; her sisters-in-law, Cathy Lord and Shirley Buttersworth, both of Sandersville ; as well as several nieces and nephews..
