Mrs. Lucille Mathis Page, age 93, of Tennille, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Tennille Retirement Home following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 17, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville, with burial following in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Pastor Scott Ferguson and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shawn Jordan, Jim Page, Drew Jordan, Rod Page and Scotty Ferguson.
Mrs. Page was a native and life-long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Julian Mathis and the late Lula Bell Samples Mathis. She was a retired supervisor for Delta Apparel and Royal Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Page attended Sandersville Community Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are her two daughters, Cathy Page Taylor of Tennille and Patty Page Farmer of Sandersville; son, Andy Page and his wife Karen of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Shawn Jordan, Nicole Carrington, Jim Page and Kara Farmer; six great grandchildren, Victoria Hay, Drew Jordan, Brett Carrington, Sydney Carrington, Darien Jordan and Jayden Scoggins; and two great-great grandchildren, Easton Hay and Remington Hay.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sandersville Community Church, 1 Club Forest Drive, Tennille, Georgia 31089.
