Mrs. Lynette Kevern, age 55, of Deepstep died Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday in the May & Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Washington County Memorial Gardens. Rev. Lamar Brantley and Rev. Wade Dawson will officiate.
Mrs. Kevern was a native of Eldorado, Kansas the daughter of the late Ralph Minnia Saner.
She was a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve with 23 years of service, and a registered nurse manager with Washington County Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Kevern was a member of the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. She had resided in Washington County since 1993.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Alan Kevern, son, Christopher Alan Kevern and daughter-in-law Christi Kevern of Sandersville, and daughter Jessica Ann Kevern Carter of Boaz, Al., Mother, Billie
Kersey Saner of Deepstep, nine Grandchildren, Michael Braden Thornhill, Samantha Michaela Isabell Thornhill, Hannah Nicole Whitney, Hunter Lee Whitney, Joshua Jaden Carmichael, Gracie Marie Carter, Victoria Alexis Kevern, Faith Carter, and Margaret Hope Carter, two brothers, Jim Saner and Tom Saner both of Kansas City, KA two sisters, Linda Saner Jeanette of Brunswick and Mary Saner Sgromolo of Braden, Fl.
May & Smith Funeral Directors of Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
