Mrs. Lynette Glover Pulliam Meeks, age 88, of Sandersville died on Monday, August 14, 2023 in a local hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 18 at 2:00 P.M. at Piney Mount United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Gary Lee Griffin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Thomas W. Pulliam, Trent Brown, Josh Edwards, Russell Meeks, Caleb Meeks and Ronnie Peavy.
Mrs. Meeks was a native of Jefferson County Georgia, the daughter of the late Nelson Glover and the late Bessie May Glover. She worked for Royal Manufacturing Co and Macon Garmen from which she retired. She attended Piney Mount United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Coleman Clark Pulliam, sisters, Annette Peavy, Virginia Fox and Marian Teuton, and husbands, Coleman Pulliam and Robert Meeks.
Mrs. Meeks is survived by her daughter Donna Ann Pulliam of Sandersville; son, Buddy Pulliam and his wife Miriam of Sandersville; step son, Russell Meeks; grandchildren, Michae Edwards and her husband Josh Edwards, Thomas (Tadpole) Pulliam and his wife Brittany, Caleb Meeks and Elizabeth Denny; great grandchildren, Trent Brown, Emma Kate Mimbs, Tucker Pulliam, Hadley Pulliam and Henry Pulliam; granddaughter in law, Tiffany Pulliam; siblings, Evelyn Petrea, Betty Brooks, Charles Glover, Danny Glover, Marguerite Garner, Glenda Shields, Mickey Rudolph, Beth Thomas, Janice Richardson and Marinelle Thomas.
The family will receive friends at Piney Mount United Methodist Church from 1:00 P. M. on Friday until the hour of service.
