M. Dwain Andrews

Mr. M. Dwain Andrews, age 78, of Sparta, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Providence Nursing Home following an extended illness. A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sparta City Cemetery.

Mr. Andrews was born in Athens the son of the late Roy Andrews and the late Willie Mae Bryant Andrews. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Agriculture working as a state calibration inspector. Mr. Andrews was a member of the Sparta Baptist Church and he was an avid gardener and a lifelong car enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eleanor Powell Andrews of Sparta; children, Cindy Andrews Wolfe and her husband Ben of Warthen and Chip Andrews and his wife Paige of Cumming; and grandchildren, Benjamin Wolfe of New York, Josh Wolfe of Dahlonega, Alexandria Andrews, Victoria Andrews and William Dwain Andrews all of Cumming.

The family will receive friends Sunday before and after the graveside service in the Cemetery.
