Mamie Horton Marchman

Mrs. Mamie Horton Marchman, age 79, of Warthen, died Saturday, April 16, 2011. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19th at 11:00am at the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Tim Powell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Terry Lord, Roy Avant, Josh McNeely, Eddie Andrews, L.H. Carter, and Jerry McDonald.

Mrs. Marchman was born in Washington County the daughter of the late Thomas Elsie Horton and the late Mamie Bowen Horton. She was retired from Delta Apparel and she was a member of the Sisters Baptist Church. Mrs. Marchman is predeceased by her husband James W. Marchman.

Survivors are her children, Joanne Marchman of Sandersville and James M. Marchman (Linda) of Warthen, grandchildren, April M. Blackmon (Clint) of Savannah and Kelli M. McNeely (Josh) of Davisboro and sisters Sally Andrews of Dublin and Bertha Yarborough of Macon.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the Cemetery and also at the Marchman residence 6341 Hwy. 15 N. Warthen.
