Margaret Alexander Dixon

Mrs. Margaret Alexander Dixon, age 77, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in Decatur. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Washington County Memorial Gardens. Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.

Mrs. Dixon was a native of Washington County, Georgia, the daughter of the late J. B. Alexander and the late Ruth Moats Alexander. She was the wife of the late William Ware Dixon. Mrs. Dixon had been employed as an accountant for West Lumber Company and was a retired accountant with the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors are her three sons, William Michael Dixon and his wife Cyndi of Benton Kansas, James Edward Dixon of Stone Mountain, and Jonathan Earl Dixon and Kristen Nicolosi of Suwanee; three grandchildren, Abigail Dixon, Ryan Canale, and A. J. Dixon; and a great grandson, Bennett Canale.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Saturday.
