Margaret Yates Edinfield

Mrs. Margaret Yates Edinfield, age 63, of 1926 Lamar's Creek Road in Sandersville died Friday, August 29 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 1 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Danny Thomas and Rev. Chris Mayhew will officiate.

Mrs. Edinfield was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Horace Greely Yates and the late Bessie Carey Yates. She was the wife of the late Ellis Edinfield. She is preceded in death by son, Paul Jason Edinfield and her sisters, Mary Yates Coleman and Lucille Yates Morris, her Brothers, Forace Robert Yates, George Henry Yates and Wallace Greely Yates. Mrs. Edinfield was a self-employed care-giver.

Survivors are her daughter, Jennifer Amanda Edinfield Mask and her husband Toby of Sandersville, grandchildren, Ellis Mask, Tanner Mask, Wesley Daniel, Cody Daniel, Colton Daniel, and Keaton Garrett, a sister, Glenda Yates Anderson and her husband Danny of Oconee and a brother, Frank Arthur Yates and his wife Sandra of Davisboro, three sister-in-laws, Twyler Yates, Judy Yates and Betty Moxley.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday.
