Margaret Price Hattaway

Mrs. Margaret Price Hattaway, age 91, of Tennille, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Washington County Extended Care Facility following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Rev. Bill Moody will officiate.

Mrs. Hattaway was a native of Johnson County the daughter of the late William Price and the late Lavada Fields Price. She was a former employee of the Washington Manufacturing Company and also owned and operated the Sandwich Shop at the former Hattaway’s Billiards in Sandersville. Mrs. Hattaway attended the Tennille Baptist Church and she is predeceased by her husband Henry J. Hattaway and her sons Jerry Hattaway and Gordon Hattaway.

Survivors are; her daughter Elizabeth Bowen and granddaughter Cherry Bowen both of Tennille, her brother Bennie Price of Gordon and her sister Bernice Fennell of Warner Robins.

The family will be at the Hattaway residence on West Adams Street in Tennille and will receive friends following the graveside service in the Cemetery.
