Margaret Long Trawick

Mrs. Margaret Long Trawick, age 90, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, following an extended illness.  A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30th at the Linton Community Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.   Reverend David Ray will officiate.

Margaret was born in Westminster, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Walter Long and the late Jessie Boggs Long.  Her career was spent being a registered nurse, having earned her RN degree at Georgia Baptist in Atlanta, Georgia.  She worked at Charleston Area Medical Center, in West Virginia and Pleasant Valley Hospital, in Point Pleasant, WV for many years. She finished up her career with the WIC program.  Margaret enjoyed reading and music.  She also loved her cats and dogs, especially Josie and Penny.

Margaret Anne is survived by her husband of 69 years, Andrew; 4 children, Mike Trawick (Kathy), Thomas Trawick (Cheri), Susan Roberts (Dave) and Candice Trawick (Vicente); 5 grandchildren, Holly Hawkins (Danny), Emily Trawick, Vicent Andreu, Daniel Trawick, Anna Andreu; and 5 great grandchildren, Bennett, Kate, Miller, Campbell, and Rhodes; sister, Cynthia Long Moreno; nieces, Beverly Kirk (Jack), Denise Cook (Ron) and great nieces; Drew (Taylor) and Jesse.
