Marilyn Adams Hall

Marilyn Archer Adams Hall of Miamola Avenue, Sandersville, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 23, 2024.  A graveside funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m. in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville.  Reverend Stan Littleton and Mr. Gray Jackson will officiate her service.  Pall bearers will be Sid Cheatham, Ben Salter, Stacer Helton, Bobby Hines, Neil Pittman and Terry Lord.  Mrs. Hall's family will greet friends following the graveside service at the Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall was born on September 9, 1924, in Warthen, Georgia to James Cleo Archer and Marilu Garner Archer. She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Gene H. Adams and William "Bill" Hall; and her stepdaughter, Dorothy "Dottie" Adams Campbell.

She is survived by her stepdaughter; Betti Adams Wise, Sandersville, GA, step­ sons; Stewart Adams (Gloria) of Chula, GA, Dennis Hall (Linda) of Duluth, GA, Kevin Hall (Corey) of Brooklyn, NY; stepdaughter, Vivanne Stacy (Chris) of Aubrey, TX; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; great nieces, Faye Salter and Peggy Cheatham of Sandersville, GA. She is also survived by a good friend Milton Howell of Sandersville, GA.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Sandersville, GA, the Sandersville Music Club, and The Sorosis Club.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the wonderful care givers, Maudie Wright, Althea Miles, A. Hall and Von Roberts.

We would also like to thank Georgia Hospice of Dublin for their extraordinary care of Marilyn.
