Marjorie Dorman Willis

Mrs. Marjorie Dorman Willis, age 78, of Sandersville, died Friday, July 03, 2009 at the Washington County Extended Care Facility following an extended illness. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Willis was born in Macon the daughter of the late Earlie Dorman and the late Beatrice Kennington Dorman. Mrs. Willis worked as a sales clerk and retired as the customer service manager for the Sandersville Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Sandersville United Methodist Church and was a former Washington County Regional Medical Center Volunteer. Mrs. Willis is predeceased by a daughter Karen L. Willis.

Survivors are her children Gail Willis Anderson (Bobby) of Tennille, Mark Sydney Willis (Julie) of Macon, and Terrie Willis Starr (John) of Tennille, grandchildren, Leigh Hilliard Barrett, Katherine Estelle Willis, Luke Aubin Willis, David Kennington Whitling, and Matthew Willis Whitling, great grandchildren, Sydney Ingram Barrett, and David Aubin Whitling, brothers, Ronnie Dorman of Sandersville and Ricky Dorman of Macon, and her sister Betty Jones of Dry Branch.
