Martha Glover Mosley

Mrs. Martha Glover Mosley, age 93, of Sandersville, died Thursday, June 1, 2017. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Sandersville with burial in Brownwood Cemetery. Reverend Lee Lacey and Reverend Larry Glover will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Mosley’s nephews – Buddy Mosley, Randy Mosley, Mike Jones, Ronnie Jones, Jimmy Glover, Jody Glover, Chip Davis, Jon Davis and Ben Davis.

Mrs. Mosley was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Thomas Olin Glover and the late Ruby Hodges Glover. She attended the public schools of Washington County and Georgia State College of Women. She retired from the City of Sandersville as a customer service representative and in retirement continued to be the city's greatest ambassador. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sandersville where she participated in Sunday School and the Joy Club. Mrs. Mosley was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Woodmen of the World. She is predeceased by her husband Paul Mosley.

Survivors are: her children, Bartley Mosley and his wife Debbie of Lake Sinclair and Paula Brown and her husband Danny of Sandersville; grandchildren, Chad Mosley, Keri Stalnaker and her husband Brad, Ashley Brown and his wife Blair, Allison Wilkinson and her husband Eric; great grandchildren, Jolane Mosley, Cole Mosley, Kennedy Mosley, Charlie Mosley, Hunter Stalnaker, Adyson Stalnaker, Kenzi Stalnaker, Judson Wilkinson, Tucker Wilkinson, and Brooks Brown; siblings, Willa Davis of Clayton, and Olin Glover of Tennille.

The family will be at the Mosley residence on Evergreen Drive in Sandersville and they will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home.
