Marvin Elton Horne

Mr. Marvin Elton Horne, age 66, of Tennille, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Horne was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Marion E. Horne and the late Eva Elizabeth Spriggs Horne. He spent his working career as a mechanic and truck driver. Mr. Horne was a long time resident of Gainesville FL., where he was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church of Gainesville. Mr. Horne was a musician and loved sharing his talent with his church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam.

Survivors are; his wife, Barbara Davie Horn of Tennille; children, Michael Horne of FL., Lisa H. Burns of TX., Stacey H. Haymore of Conyers and Eva H. Morales of AZ.; 17 grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Horne, Larry Horne, David Horne and Danny Horne; and sister, Patty Horne.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
